In these variables, FACTS stores the NTP server addresses. The files are suffixed with a number, which indicates the order they appear in the list. The first server FACTS tries can be configured by setting the DEFSERVER tooltype. The server lists can be maintained by using SLEFF. Format: ADDRESS:PORT[:SERVICE[:TIMEOUT]] Example: ntp2a.mcc.ac.uk:37:37:60 Specifies that FACTS should connect to server ntp2a.mcc.ac.uk, on port 37 using the time/tcp service with a timeout of 60 seconds. Service and Timeout are optional - if not specified, FACTS will use the port number as the service number, and a timeout of 60 seconds. Service numbers: 13 - daytime 37 - time/tcp 372 - time/udp 123 - sntp | |
